Hi, I'm Stephanie!
I'm originally from Wisconsin in the United States, but in 2019 I packed up my life and moved to Seville, Spain. Like many of my clients, I had to navigate unfamiliar systems, paperwork, cultural differences, and the challenge of building a new life in a new country.
Today, I help others do the same.
Before moving to Spain, I worked as a licensed Realtor in Wisconsin, helping buyers navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. After making the move abroad myself, I realized that relocating to another country comes with many of those same emotions—excitement, uncertainty, and a seemingly endless list of questions.
That's why I created Move to Spain with Stephanie.
My goal is simple: to help make your move to Spain feel less overwhelming and more manageable. Whether you're exploring different cities, searching for a rental, opening a bank account, or simply trying to understand what comes next, I'm here to provide honest guidance, local insight, and practical support every step of the way.
What makes my approach different is that I've lived both sides of the experience. I understand the questions, concerns, and challenges that many foreigners face because I've been through them myself. Having worked in real estate in both the United States and Spain, I bring a perspective that combines relocation support with firsthand knowledge of the housing market. Whether you're renting, buying, or simply trying to understand your options, I'm able to help bridge the gap between the practical realities of moving abroad and the housing decisions that come with it.
When I'm not helping clients relocate, you'll usually find me traveling around Spain and Europe, leading food tours, spending time at the beach, playing volleyball, or meeting friends for a drink and a few tapas. One of the things I love most about living in Spain is the lifestyle itself—the emphasis on community, enjoying the moment, and making time for the people and experiences that matter most.

One of my favorite ways to get to know Seville is through its food, and for several years, I got to help visitors do exactly that as a tapas tour guide! I guide for Food Lover Tour Seville (it's not my company — I'm just one of their guides!), taking guests beyond simply ordering tapas and into the stories, traditions, neighborhoods, and little quirks that make eating in Seville such an important part of life here.
These days, I don't guide nearly as often as I used to. Apparently helping people move their entire lives to Spain keeps me a little busy! But I still love doing tours every once in a while, especially when I get to have one of my relocation clients in the group.
